ISABELLE CORNISH: A DAY IN HER LIFE

Yes, we have a slight crush on Isabelle Cornish here at Sporteluxe after her recent signing as the new face of Bonds Australia. Not only does she look incredibly gorgeous in the new Bonds campaign shots, but her recent Bonds TVC that aired on Sunday now has us all voting her as our new favourite Aussie gal. We decided to catch up with Isabelle to ask her a few questions about her daily life and how she stays so fit and beautiful.

What are your favourite BONDS to wear?
The hoodies!! Nothing better for winter.

Talk us through the perks and duties of being the ambassador for Bonds?
One of the perks of being a bonds ambassador is getting to work along People like Rachel Taylor and Pat Rafter and getting great bonds undies and clothing.

You look incredible in the Bonds campaign, how did you prepare for the Bonds shoot?
I kept active and ate a clean vegan diet.

Sporteluxe loves your new TVC for Bonds. Tell me about the shoot day/s?
The shoot day was great, an early start by the water at 5am. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day but after the shoot my body was extremely sore from the 12 hrs of skipping!

Describe a typical day for you?
Normally I start the day with a shake and I like to have fruit and nuts throughout the day. For dinner normally will make a stir fry or some Japanese.
I try to fit a workout in where I can and usually I’m going to a meeting or 2 for an audition or upcoming work.

What is your favourite food to eat?
Hmm I love protein smoothies, I can’t go a day without one!

What can’t you live without every day?
Coffee or a cup of tea 🙂

Where are you now as you answer these questions?
At my house in Newtown, Sydney

What is your favourite exercise brand and why?
Bonds for casual exercise wear and Nike for runners.

How do you stay in shape?
I go running 5 times a week then like to do body attack or weight training at the gym.

Dinner with friends or shopping?
Dinner with friends – I love eating out.

Are you a cool sport chic sneaker, jeans and T shirt girl or more of a fashionista in heels, leather jacket and skinny jeans?
Sneakers, Jeans and a t-shirt kinda girl. I’m rarely seen in heels!

If you had a one way ticket, where would it be to?

Greece, how dreamy!

SYDNEY: NIKE RUN UNLEASHED 2013

Last night Nike held their annual Nike She Runs The Night race down at Centennial Parklands, Sydney with a 7,000 sqm custom-built Nike shipping container village. All though it was a freezing cold start to the night, we were all soon rearing to go with a 6,000 strong women’s warm up session. I think that’s probably the largest warm up session I’ve ever seen. Actresses Jodi Anasta and Rhiannon Fish along with Olympics hopeful, Kelly Hetherington all joined the race and together we all ran our personal bests. Kelly Hetherington ran an impressive 10kms in 42 minutes, and myself ran 10kms in 57 minutes. Although I was tackling a painful side stitch from 3-7km, I still made my personal best and if it wasn’t for all the light shows, music, gas flames, Gatorade hydration stations and pink and purple colour wrapped trees that littered the race circuit, I would not have made my personal best. A big congratulations to Victoria Mitchell who smashed the 10km course in only 34:09 minutes! Wow, what an athlete! The party then kicked-on after the finish line at the Nike She Runs Village, featuring rehydration stations, massage stations, food vans, relaxation zones and live performances from The Faders and Justice Crew. What an amazing night and I can’t wait to do it all over again Nike!

The den concierge will assist runners with personalized gait analysis designed to select ideal footwear, bra bar fitting and tailored interaction with key products, including the new Flyknit Lunar One+ and Nike FREE 5.0. The runners will also be able to connect via the Nike+ application at the Nike+ Activation zone, shop the limited edition Nike She Runs 10K merchandise and connect with like-minded women runners via the Nike+ Training Club.

“The Nike Running Den is a culmination of education, innovation, product & interaction across both physical and digital platforms.
